Chris Poole joined Commissioned for the album Time & Seasons, replacing Montrell Darrett in his lead singing position. He brought a nice tenor sound to Commissioned, one that is a similar to that of Keith Staten and John P. Kee somewhat. His entrance into Commissioned along with Marcus Cole gave the group the round sound of earlier albums only rejuvenated. On the album Time & Seasons, he sounded pretty good in his duets with Marcus Cole ("Testify", "You've Been Good", "Trying of Your Faith" "You Are Forgiven" and other songs).
